The Fairs „Aviation Valley Expo Day & B2B Meetings” organised by the Aviation Valley Association took place in Rzeszów on 25 May 2010. 60 exhibitors and about 400 guests from all over the world, including those from the most important aviation clasters in European Union, had the opportunity to meet and to develop their business contacts.

HollywoodForeign Press Association announced nominations for Golden Globes - one of the most prestigious movie and TV awards, granted by the foreign journalists acredited in Hollywood. The Polish accents among the nominated is the distinction of the film "The Children of Irena Sendler" co-produced by the Polish producer-K&K Selekt. Anna Paquin, playing the main role, has been nominated for portraying the famous Polish heroine that saved thousands of Jewish children during the war.

Vulgar, brutal and sexually explicit – Amok, a first novel by Krystian Bala, burst onto the literary stage in Poland in 2003. It was the story of a so-called “perfect crime” – the torture and murder of an attractive woman by the name of Mary. The author was a handsome intellectual in his early thirties and his shocking novel put him front and center in the Polish artistic community.
